If it is not misue why does the embassy reject F1 visa if applicant cannot show proper ties to home country

There is no such sentiment what so even and i am not fighting but stating my disagreement with the whole idea that MS student add to the economy. While they a burden to US for 2 years and add nothing to the economy during the same 2, years a H1B contributes to the economy in form of taxes (SS, medicare State and Federal Tax)

The IV's core team members deserve our unliimited thanks!
But it is also important to realize that what makes the IV great is each one of those thousands of members (and even guests) that kept visiting the site making this site so vibrant. It is this collective unity and the core team's ability to keep our focus on the right things that success has been achieved.
Not all problems have been solved yet (for example how long will it take to get EAD's, will we now be in another queue for several years, what about people in the BECs), and therefore this unity needs to remain as we go on to tackle newer challenges.
We can trust IV to keep this juggernaut going with support from all of us.

I agree.... there are no IOs at the fingerprinting offices let alone talking to them.
I had an infopass appointment today and the IO there told me a lot. She told me that me and my wife's namecheck and fingerprints were cleared. She also told me that the case has not been assigned and therefore she opened a Service Request for me to expedite the case (dont know if it will help). She also mentioned that there is no memo stating that the vsa numbers have been exhausted.
And believe me.. i overheard the other IOs in the saying that the immigration system is screwed up and the service centers dont know what they are doing... so guys you can see what the system thinks of itself.....
so again as i have said....sit tight and hope and pray ....

Nice to know that. Now on what basis do we believe you and not the other guy? In this anonymous environment you are as much/less credible as the other guy. The best thing for everyone is to keep hopes low and wait till September passes. There's so much information,rumors,gossip doing the rounds to drive everyone crazy.

Good idea and will atleast take us some where.
Good one, Change to workflow should not be an issue, but we should have IV core support and reasonable to pool of money (not peanuts) to make this a success. I would recommend to run a funding drive, specially for this effort once IV core endorses this effort. In day to day life, Everything begins with $, you get what you pay for and nothing is free.

Do whatever the F**K you want to stop us immigrants. You can't.
Nobody was able to stop your Grandpa from hopping aboard the Mayflower and landing in Ellis island and making a good life for himself. He had the might. He did it. So will we. However, I will do one thing more than that. I will teach my grand kids to respect people, no matter who they are and where they are from.
I am going to immigrate. I am going to work hard. I am going to prosper. I will bring good life to my family. I will bring value to this society and this country. I will start companies and provide my brother americans with jobs. I will help make America better.
You only make me stronger.
I could say here that people like you make our lives difficult. But that would be wrong. I have quite a few Second generation Italian friends here in florida and they are simply gems. They are among the reason I always wanted to come to this country. So you are alone in your ridicule/negative motivation. Whatever question you ask, we shall make an attempt to answer.....Even if it has been answered ....before we would again answer....
Do you find your questions answered ???...Do you think that this activity is useful...??

As it is a forum and everyone have common in interests, while questions are answered, it is also important that we have collective opinions and conclusions, ie everyone helps each other with experience and no one does things for commercial purposes.
I have seen people not liking what I write, though I am not an expert, if you notice my posts, I always insist on being careful and not believeing employers or lawyers and not make your own conclusions about GC or USCIS or DOL or employers or Lawyers.
While most people want green cards, they do not realise that things are not the same as before, and maybe green card may or may not even be an option (that includes me too), which does not mean that we must not try or do what we can. Thats why I support IV, I have contributed $200 so far and will be contributing.
If someone can contribute with ideas, guidances, experience, that is also a contribution. I have seen lot of posts saying, we must dress up as Gandhi in Washington DC and have a strike, a day without h1b etc and ask for Green Cards. Such things may be possible if we have a majority like the illegals. If H1bs grow in millions, then it is a option. Such a situation may not arise. H1b system can be corrected at grassroots and IV is one such organization capable of achieving this without protests and strikes.

Some people (i was one of them) thought that at such a stalemate in the words that coomon sense should prevail. Common sense would dictate that skill would prevail over diversity.
However; the rules were always such that there was never any horizontal spillover but rather vertical. The main thing that changed was that the unused visas from row could be used by retrogressed countries quarterly rather then annually.

Please refrain from using the terms "Indian legal immigrant community" in your communication with OMB. IV represents the skilled legal immigrant community in general and not immigrants from only one country. Doing this defeats our own cause and divides us. As a matter of fact I know several people who belong to EB2 ROW whose PDs are 2005-2006 and they are still waiting.
IV was established to represent legal immigrants from all over the world. Please do not indulge in such divisive campaigns. You have been warned.
