My friend works for Deloitte & Touche and they charge $550/hr and he gets $75/hr.. so what? And he is USC.
Do you know the rates top consulting company charges? they normally starts from $400/hr+ in Accenture, PWC, KPMG, E&Y Etc and their employee's do not get paid more than 20%. Its a practice around the world.
But the difference here is the LCA says their salary as 55K.

I can understand your concerns.. and no, I do no resent your comment. I rather welcome a different viewpoint! IV, I emphatically maintain is made up ordinary people, like you and me, regardless of nationality and culture. I'm not a core member, but that, in itself, is the point - there is no top-down hierarchy, no "party line". IV is us. It is the very embodiment of the philosophy, "Of the people, by the people, and for the people" .

But something short and catchy that captures the essence of what happened. And says that it hurt people.

There is the freedom to change jobs and apply for a new TN each time. There is no 6 year or any sort of time cap - TN can be renewed indefinitely..a TN only costs $50 to renew for each year and can be filed without an attorney by mail. No need to physcially go anywhere.
Drawbacks.
1. Spouses/Dependents get TD which is as restrictive as H4
2. There is a fixed list of professions and minimum education qualifications that you/your intended employment HAVE to satisfy to qualify for a TN. Experience cannot be used to substitute lack of education..

I don't think so. 7% limit has been there for a very long time. Unused visas from prior years for ac21 purposes were still subject to 7% in current year. The 7% rule was unchanged.

The Problem is isolating EB-2 India from the Perm Approvals.
EB2 were ~ 35% of India approvals between Mar-05 to Oct-05, then it ramped up to ~65% - 70% for most of FY 2006.
Total EB2 IN cases per year 2006 onwards were north of 18,000, which implies at least 40,000 Visas including dependants.
Method: Apply filters for - Approved - India - Level I - bakers, cooks, elementary school teachers etc.
This will slightly overestimate the EB2 IN numbers.
Remember to remove the previous year's applicants as their PD will be the previous year, add them to the prev. year's estimate.

Just because one guy is pointing out fraud in H1b he is not anti immigrant. Can you call entire congress is anti immigrant just for passing TARP restriction unanimously? But still we are optimistic of getting support from congress for EB reform. 99% of H1bs will not be impacted by this memo if that is implemented properly. For example even if USCIS does not approve h1b because he is having multiple layers of H1b still that position will be open and that can be filled by H1b person who is placed directly. The person who impacted by this memo will suffer a few weeks and he will find another job. Basically it will not impact H1b program or H1b persons. Even after the memo many H1bs were approved with third party consulting. Can you tell any denial based on the memo? But I am seeing many RFEs for H1b applications without client letter. That is normal and no one complaints about that

More than the money, these guys are plain stalkers! They don't leave you even if you are not interested and even after blindly telling them right on their face. Because of all these experiences, even when you genuinely smile or strike a conversation with a desi, he/she first suspects you to be an ammway guy. I face it everyday, being "outgoing extrovert" in nature, I tend to smile and talk to people in elevators, walkways, malls, restrooms, groceries etc... which is mostly casual fun stuff and most times desis suspect that I am a ammway guy and cut me out harshly.

Because of all these experiences, even when you genuinely smile or strike a conversation with a desi, he/she first suspects you to be an ammway guy. I face it everyday, being "outgoing extrovert" in nature, I tend to smile and talk to people in elevators, walkways, malls, restrooms, groceries etc... which is mostly casual fun stuff and most times desis suspect that I am a ammway guy and cut me out harshly.
